Training Day Three

In my third day of training for the 5k here are the stats…

  • Total Time: 00:30:46
  • Time In-Zone: 00:6:28
  • Average Heart Rate: 142 BPM
  • Peak Heart Rate: 185 BPM
  • Minimum Heart Rate: 115 BPM
  • Estimated Calories Burned: 467
  • Total Distance: 2.1 Mi

Looks like I spent most of my time in HR zone 3 instead of zone 2 which isn’t a bad thing. I’m not sure yet but I’m thinking about adding some riding instead of weight training on my off days to improve my running endurance so that I can maintain a sustained run for the full time I’m supposed to spend running.
